2006 Savignon Blanc

Chameleon Cellars is changing colors and added our first white wine ever in 2006. The second version of SB 2005 is awarded as good as its predecessor – perhaps better! Its fruit is lush and aromatic beautiful are entirely consistent with our philosophy that all wines must be labeled by the grape it represents and to provide a lively acidity and refreshing palate.

This variety has long been prized for its ability to improve a wide range of variety light food, and our 2005 version is no exception. Grapes from Mendocino, Lake and Sonoma counties with 7% Verdelho from Lodi. All stainless fresh own very aromatic wine with hints of mango and grapefruit will blend beautifully with a snapper lightly grilled or sauteed chicken and a Roasted rosemary infused ravioli with goat cheese or coconut shrimp.

If absolutely perfect for immediate consumption, this lovely wine is both the depth of fruit and tangy acidity required for some extra bottles age.

Cabernet Sauvignon – the main grape variety Red

Cabernet Sauvignon as being a bit difficult because there are many myths and conjectures surrounding. The word "Sauvignon" seems to have been derived from the French word wild, which means wild. Reference is made to the vine Vitis vinifera is a native wild vine in France. The grapes used to be rumored to have ancient origins.

During the past century, Cabernet Sauvignon has become very popular as one of the most beautiful grapes in the wine world. Its popularity is partly built on the success in Bordeaux, as well as regions such as California and Australia. Planting vines in a region that can be cultivated, it is considered a good choice. Cabernet has become a familiar wine among consumers, who also helped to its availability and appeal, even wine regions and producers waves.

In California, Cabernet Sauvignon has a certain style reputation and recognized by the world market. plantations in California and grape production are similar to those of the quantity of Bordeaux. In the years 80, the phylloxera epidemic invaded California, demolishing most of the vineyards that would later require replanting. There was also speculation the Cabernet Sauvignon were planted with other varieties. Plantations Cabernet Sauvignon, actually doubled between 88 and 98. Most wine regions have been dominated by the grapes, the Napa Valley north of Yountville Alexander Valley and Sonoma.

"
