90 + 5 Great Wines Under $ 20

Most of you who are familiar with the wine know that a particular wine a score of 90 or more means is a wine of excellent quality. The good news is that the high score does not necessarily mean a higher price. There are some 90 + excellent wines that sell for less than $ 20. The good news is that all these wines are not hard to find. Most liquor stores with a Fair to decent selection are required to have at least a couple of wines listed below.

1. Monte Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2005 90 points from Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate – bodied, deep purple (5% Sangiovese in the blend). $ 15.99 $ 17.99 -.

2. 2004 Gran Cicchitti Reserva – 92 points Jay Miller, The Wine Advocate – Another wine purple, thick and sweet. Fermented 12 months in French and American oak. $ 14.98, 19.99 $.

3. 2005 Verrieres Montagnac Clos Des Coteaux Soutyeres Wine – 90 points Wine Spectator – A very nice after dinner. subtle hints of chocolate black and espresso. $ 16.98, $ 19.99.

5. Chateau Les Terrasses Pesquié 2007-91 points Robert Parker The Wine Advocate – the last on the list is a godsend incredible. This vintage has been custom made for importer Eric Solomon. It combines 60 years Grenache with Syrah 30 years, partly in barrels and small Lightning and reservoir. The result is a wine red color purple, which offer exceptional flavor and body. Mix with its low price which makes for an exceptional value. $ 9.98 to 14.99 $.
